The Southwest Desert Militia is an unorganized militia (sometimes
referred to as the irregular force) comprised of membership from several
states, each along the southern border.
While many militia take the stand of being a last stand against tyranny,
we have chosen a path more along the lines of Civil Defense, that much
more likely, we will be helping our neighbors in a time of crisis.
To provide a well developed training program so that motivated members
of any community may have a resource to build the skills and confidence
they would need to be an effective force multiplier to any local
responder service that finds a need to an augmentation to their ranks in
times of community need.
To provide to local authorities a trained body of volunteers to assist in emergency operations in support of the community.
