We believe a well-armed citizenry is the best form of Homeland Security and can better deter crime, invasion, terrorism, and tyranny. Southern Sons of Liberty

The Southern Sons of Liberty are a militia, (political organization) for the purposes of the state of Maryland. We adhere to states right and are ready to war with those who would take our guns and freedoms. It is our belief that from April 19, 1861 to the present, the founding fathers original intent for the constitution has been severely distorted. While many militia take the stand of being a last stand against tyranny, we have chosen a path more along the lines of Civil Defense, that much more likely, we will be helping our neighbors in a time of crisis.
